Obviously,
this photo of Guntersville Lake (on the Tennessee River) was taken
when it was a pretty day. This was not our day..... as we have had
the threat of rain all day and decided to stay put another night here
in Guntersville, AL. It started raining late this afternoon after I
did three loads of wash in the nice laundromat here. They have a
free loaner car so we went to town for lunch....they have great free
Wi-fi also.
At
this hour, 7pm Central Time, it is still raining... forecasted to
continue until 10a tomorrow. Since we have had too many days of
traveling in the rain without windshield wipers! …...we hope that
prediction is wrong! We are really in no rush since we must stay
north of Demopolis, AL until November 1.
Perhaps
our vacation has begun? Where's that book I brought?!
